The Canon EOS R1 (development announced on 15 May 2024) is a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera produced by Canon. The EOS R1 is Canon's first flagship EOS R System model.
The EOS R1 features:

a new ‘DIGIC Accelerator’ image processor that supplements the existing DIGIC X processor
a new 24.2 megapixel Dual Pixel CMOS sensor
In-Camera Upscaling DIGIC Accelerator processing now enables in-camera upscaling using deep learning to double the number of pixels horizontally and vertically from 24MP to 96MP image in about 10 seconds.
improved subject recognition and tracking accuracy
improved noise reduction.
Canon announced the full specification on July 17, 2024 and began delivering that same month.
