Three of the rockets in the Rocket Garden at the Visitor Center, Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Florida.

On the left, an Atlas rocket with an Agena satellite bus on top. The Agena was later repurposed as an upper stage rocket and as a target vehicle for Gemini rendezvous and docking missions.

Centre is a Delta satellite launch rocket. It first went into service in 1960, and flew its final mission in 2024.

On the right, a Titan II rocket with a Gemini capsule on top. Gemini was the second US crewed programme, following on from the initial Mercury programme, and provided a vital stepping stone to the Apollo programme which first took human beings to the moon.
