I was introduced to photography as a schoolboy back in the 70's by an inspirational art teacher who started me on a macro photography project. That was OK but not really my thing so I branched out into industrial and landscape photography. I was fortunate to live near the docks in Bristol so I had easy access to ships, trains, cranes and the like and as for landscapes, it's hard to beat the area around that city. Latterly I've started to photograph people and I've done the usual gamut of weddings, kids and animals but I still enjoy other genres of photography. My latest personal challenge is wildlife photography, particularly birds in flight.
