Paris 1996.
From my project “Paris que j'aime”
The Tournelle bridge was completely rebuilt in 1918.
The bridge is dominated by the statue of Sainte Genevieve patron saint of Paris by the sculptor Paul Landowski.
The statue “looks” east because from there, from Attila onwards, the enemies of the capital came…
To the left in the reflection of the sun is the famous gastronomic restaurant ΄΄La Tour d'Argent’’. The tower behind is of the famous university “Jussieu”-Paris VII.

Near the archaeological site of Paleopolis, (the most important in Samothrace and one of the most important in Greece) 4km north of Chora, on a hill with a beautiful view, stand the three towers of the Gateluzos, which remind of the short period when the well-known Genoese house defended the island. Despite the name “Paleopolis Towers” that has prevailed, these are not individual towers, but the ruins of a regular medieval castle of the 15th century.
